The General Assembly:

Appreciates Dr. John H. Davis for his efficient administration of UNRWA and dedicated service to refugee welfare.

Thanks UNRWA staff, specialized agencies, and private organizations for their continued efforts in assisting Palestine refugees.

Requests the Secretary-General to provide necessary staff and facilities to the UN Conciliation Commission for Palestine.

Calls on the UN Conciliation Commission for Palestine to continue efforts to implement paragraph 11 of resolution 194 (III).

Highlights UNRWA's precarious financial position, urging non-contributing governments to contribute and contributing governments to consider increasing their contributions.
