The General Assembly:

Regrets the lack of progress in refugee repatriation or compensation and requests the UN Conciliation Commission for Palestine to report on the implementation of resolution 194 (III) by 15 October 1961.

Highlights the financial difficulties of UNRWA and urges increased contributions from governments.

Thanks the Director, staff, specialized agencies, and private organizations for their continued efforts to assist refugees.
