Descrizione:

Recalling previous resolutions on the Palestine problem,

Having examined the progress report of the United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine,

Expresses appreciation to the Conciliation Commission for its efforts;

Notes with regret the Commission's inability to fulfill its mandate;

Considers that the primary responsibility for settlement lies with the concerned governments;

Urges these governments to seek early agreement using UN facilities;

Considers that the Conciliation Commission should continue its efforts and be available to assist the parties;

Requests the Commission to submit periodic progress reports to the
Secretary-General;

Requests the Secretary-General to provide necessary staff and facilities for this resolution.
