20yo; Jeanette was last seen hitchhiking near the Cotati, CA on-ramp of Highway 101. She had left her residence (in the 900 block of Sierra Ave in Santa Rosa) at ~9:30am to head to school at the Santa Rosa Junior College.

A friend stated she witnessed Jeannette's likely abduction (because she was going to stop & pick Jeannette up, though another vehicle pulled over before she could) and reported that Jeannette entered a faded brown 1970-1972 Chevrolet pickup truck fitted with a homemade wooden camper and driven by a 20-30yo white man with an Afro hairstyle.

NamUs lists her as Asian, but according to CharPro and Wikipedia (as well as her last name), she is Native Hawaiian.

*** While Jeannette is not considered "Native American" but instead Pacific Islander, I have added the MMIWG tag to her case because she *is* Indigenous (specifically, to Hawai'i).

On February 2, 2025, I submitted Phelan Jane Doe and Jeannette Kamahele as a possible match on the Doe Network. Later that day, Mary Bell of DN replied, "Thank you for the suggested match. I don't show any comparison of these having been done so I will have our panel look at it. If [it] is proven to be a positive match, I will contact you further."

On June 13, 2025, I asked Mary Bell about the status of various matches that I had submitted to the Doe Network over the past year. I learned from her response that the possible match of Jeannette Kamahele and Phelan Jane Doe 1973 has been submitted to law enforcement.
