Descrizione:

A man wearing a hood approached Hartnell (20yo) & Shepard (22yo) with a gun, believed by Hartnell to be a .45, at Lake Berryessa, ~500yd from Knoxville Rd.

The man ordered Shepard to tie Hartnell up with precut lengths of plastic clothesline. The man then tied Shepard up and checked that Hartnell was tied tightly enough. He then stabbed Hartnell six times in the back, and then Shepard ten times in the back and abdomen. Shepard died in the hospital after rescue, and Hartnell survived.



This is the third confirmed attack perpetrated by the serial killer known as the Zodiac.
