Before 1921, while he was working at the Harvard Inn, Capone was involved in many scuffles as a gang member. One such scuffle came about after Capone made a comment about Frank Galluccio's sister. Galluccio slashed at Capone's left cheek with a knife or razor blade. The attack left Capone with 3 large scars. This earned Capone his intimidating nickname, Scarface. See Picture 2.
