24 apr 588 anni - King Fïpäka is Overthrown by Prince Bekarva
Descrizione:
Due to Fïpäka's lifestyle and drunkness, he was unable to perform the abilities of a king and was overthrown by his brother, Bekarva.
Bekarva had managed to convince his private guards (some took bribing while others just took convincing) to help with overthrowing his brother. First, he drank away with Fïpäka, until his brother was starting to slip out of his chair. Then, the two got into an argument about his drinking and resulted in Fïpäka getting violent, but due to his drunkenness, slipped and fell. Bekarva then said to him, "Look at you! Falling everywhere like some dumb drunk! How can you be king if you cannot sit in your own roomchair!". Fïpäka tried to get up, but then vomited and then Bekarva said, "You are unable to rule this kingdom, brother, I apologize but I am taking your throne." Fïpäka yelled which prompted the guards to run in.
However, instead of coming to the aid of the king, they grabbed and tied him and then brought him to the dungeon where he remained for five days. The next day, Bekarva ordered a meeting of the Royal Council where he explained that he took it upon himself to rescue the kingdom from the drunken stupidity of his brother and took his title. He also stated that those who disagreed with this decision would be immediately arrested by the guards and soldiers. None contested and then they began preparations for his coronation. The next day, Bekarva gave a speech in the center square of Kueplios telling that he had become King of Oipenta and that his brother would be exiled to the north.
