Meeting of all colonies to discuss what to do
Takes place in Philadelphia
They believe that Parliament can’t tax the colonies and only recognize the King’s rule
The plan they come up with:
Petition to England
Boycott English imports and exports (instruct every single town to set up a Committee of Observance and Inspection (elected by the town) to make sure people follow the boycott and publicly shame those in the newspaper that don’t)
Plan to meet again in 1775
