This is the official asset that was reserved for the original Pepe artist named Matt Furie.

It was intended by the creator of Rare Pepe (Mike) to always reserve a place for the comic artist who created the Pepe character.

When it was issued in 2016 by Joe Looney, the image shown read "Reserved for Matt Furie".

In September of 2021, Matt Furie requested ownership of FEELSGOODMAN and was given the asset ownership by Joe.

Matt then updated the image with his art submission and distributed it on his own terms via his Pegz DAO which did cause some public backlash and a lawsuit.
