Armistice day happened on the 11th of November, 1918. It was a 2 minute silence for everyone lost in the war, and became known as Veterans Day soon after. It was the first step to ending the war, as The Treaty of Versaille was what actually ended the war as Armistice day was only a peace agreement for a specific amount of time.
