Economic turmoil and political instability had been brewing in The Eastern Coalition for decades leading up to the march on Beijing of January 2121, but Beijing's leadership's ineptitude had finally grown to the point where their citizens dissidence was absolute. The Civil war would continue for the following 12 years, finally coming to a conclusion after the Panic over Venus's mysterious destruction made all the people's of earth realize they had even bigger threats to face.

The civil war was ultimately won by the revolutionaries, and the idea of the T.E.C. as a unified state dissolved overnight. Due to the destruction of Venus, the new micronations that emerged from this conflict were more than willing to seek statehood within the U.N.W., thus transofming the organisation into it's final form of the United Nations of Earth.
