The Selaiki people faced their first recorded war against the kingdoms of Sogdia. The conflict arose between the city of Selga and some associated autonomous Selaiki villages, and the Sogdians, due to the competition for control over the trade routes and racial persecution. Records are biased on the outcome, but form what can be evaluated the Selaiki had the upper hand but there people living within sodgia were pushed out.
