Dynastic disputes between Selaiki nobles marrying the satraps in Sogdia (part of the Bactrian Sattrape) led to a series of conspiracies, race riots, and assassination which almost led to civil war. However, the crisis was averted with the separation of sodgia from the Bactrian Sattrape and the repeal of some rights to Selaiki habitation.
