Due to the heavy defenses that the Iretan soldiers had built throughout the war, the OLF (Oipientian Liberation Front) decided that the best plan of action would be to recapture Nevashivi and then agree to a ceasefire. This is exactly what was done. With Nevashivi recaptured, a deal was made with the Iretan Republic and Oipienta to grant them independence in exchange for reparations (money, food, and supplies) of the entire war.
