Micheal phelps performed in the 2016 olympics he was born on june 30 th 1985. He started swimming at age 7 which is very very young at it is very cool to see how he has grown and gotten a very a lot better of time and years and years of practice. When he was a teen he swam over 100 miles peer week! I think this is incredible because he was only a teen and he was swimming more than some people walk in a week.He was only 15 when he qualified for the 200m butterfly and reached the finally before winning fifth place which was very very good for his age in the 2016 olympics he won 6 metals 5 gold and one silver. He is a inspiration to the united states of america history because he was strong and always tried his best in whatever he did.
