1 gen 1917 anni - Russian Revolution
Descrizione:
Tsar Nicholas was an unpopular man. While he'd instituted the Duma as a way to try to listen to the voices of the people, he largely didn't listen to the Duma. He was a weak leader, and his failure in World War 1 as a general was embarrassing to his subjects. They went hungry, and then remembered a classic Russian book. It was not Anna Karenina. The Russian people fought for an egalitarian communist republic, which they largely failed to achieve. However, the revolution did succeed in replacing (and murdering) Nicholas and his family.
