FDR vs Alfred Landon; FDR wins by a landslide. Election was considered a referendum on the ND. Landon was a Kansas governor. He tried to convince the public that the ND wasn’t working. The election showed that Americans clearly wanted the ND. It was the first time the Democratic party won African-American voters and labor unions.
