within his army, James would to have catholic in this standing king's army and he thought they would prove more loyal toward him parilment was not ok with his out all and went against it a couple of times but eventually came to a compromise saying that James could employ any catholic that passed the test act basically meaning that James could have quiet catholic within his war but this was not good enough for James so what he did was he send parilment away as James could no longer dissolved parliament instead he prorogued parilment instead as James this was basically forcing parilment to go on holiday but they would return in a matter of months
