Descrizione:

Failed coup by General Kornilov:
- ordered troops towards Petrograd to counter Bolshevik threat
- Kornilov sent troops to the city - Kerensky denounced Kornilov and set up defence for petrograd.
- Bolsheviks helped (making them look organised and armed themselves)
- Kornilov's troops didn't arrive and he was arrested
- the affiar worsened Kerensky's reputation as he had employed Kornilov in the first place.
