A 6.6 magnitude earthquake struck Bam, Iran and killed at least 15,000 people. The earthquake flattened most of the buildings in the old, ancient town, and crushed more than 70% of the houses. The quake buried thousands of people, and caused great grief to people around the world. Many different countries from all over the world sent supplies to help the relief centers.
