A famous fight of the front of the new model army lead by Cromwell at the start the battle was not going great as the battle started because of the link Scotland had towards Charles. With the army power of 11,000 in Cromwell army 5,300 short it was hard and the NMA were losing as Scotland had an army twice the size of Cromwell so Cromwell had a ship to come and retreat the army that weekend but
Despite his position of apparent weakness at Dunbar on 3 September 1650 Cromwell defeat the huge Scottish army twice the size of his with killing 3,000 and capturing 10,000 that day so rapidity the rest of the Scottish army fled.
Cromwell saw the victory form a gift from god feeding this idea it made the army feel like gods personal army which would an unstoppable force to deal with this battle started the fear of the new model army and tort every one a lesson towards parliament
