During the Agricultural Revolution, a common problem was the amount of land in some places, like Britain. To combat this, the plan to convert fields of land into fertile farmland. this involved a lot of deforestation and renovation.
Drainage was the act of removing water from the land, usually artificial land. This needed to be done in order to prevent an overflow of water from killing and disrupting seeds.
Reclamation programs were programs done to try and combat the large changes that were done to land in an attempt to make them more fertile. These included taxes on farmers with large plots of land.
