1 gen 1700 anni - Enclosure Act
Descrizione:
The Enclosure Acts were a series of acts that helped start the Agricultural Revolution. These acts allowed farmer to hold private land. This created competition and richer farmers quickly bought up land, leaving small farmers without much. This ownership of private land also allowed farmers to freely use their own farming tactics, which led to innovation and thus higher crop yields.
