25 lugl 1945 anni - Potsdam Conference
Descrizione:
Harry S. Truman met with the Soviets to discuss the future of Europe. Here, they decided to hold war-crime trials for top Nazi leaders. The most famous would be the Nuremberg Trials. At this conference, Truman would also tell the existence of the atomic bomb to Stalin, but Stalin already knew of the existence because of spies he had. The two would disagree on the allowance of free elections in Europe. Stalin believed that there should be Eastern European satellites that would weaken an invasion of the Soviet Union.
