During the Great Oipientian Depression, the leader of the National Yeskvog Party, Senator Javik Gíšňíkíṡ decided it would be best for the party to be slightly renamed. The decision was backed by the loss of support for the Yeskvog Party and they believed that the name was cuasing the issue. Since nationalism was falling out of favor in Oipienta due to the Depresson, the Yesskvogites decided to discard "national" from their name. Unfortunately, the name change did not do much to help the party keep a steady growth in new members.
