George Washington's troops unexpectedly attacked the Hessian troops outside of Trenton, gaining a victory. Only about 5 were injured, and they captured 948 soldiers to take prisoner. An important person in this victory was Johann Rall, who led the patriots in this battle. Colonel Johann Rall was also important since he led the hessians.
