20 magg 1774 anni - Intolerable acts - Impartial Administration of Justice

Descrizione:

This was a series of Laws passed by the British Parliament for the American colonies. There were four, which were the Boston Port Act, the Massachusetts Government Act, the Administration of Justice Act, and the Quartering Act.

This act gave the governor further power and gave him the ability to move a or many trials to another colony if it was deemed necessary. He could even move a trial to Great Britain if “an indifferent trial cannot be had within the said province." (Pickering and Bathhurst)
This act took away a right that was later put in the constitution,
Which is taking away one’s right to a just and speedy trial
