King George III was the King of Great Britain and the King of Ireland from October 25, 1760 to January 29, 1820. He became the King when his dad passed away when he was just 12 years old. His early reign is longer than his predecessor. He was the third British monarch of the House of Hanover. The first reign were marked by the political instability and resulted lots of disagreements over the Seven Years War. George was also favouring Tory ministers that led to his denunciation by the Whigs as an autocrat. The Crown Lands made little income, because most of the income went to taxes and excise duties. King George the III died due to lung cancer.
