King George III reigned 60 years as king of Britain and encountered many revolutionary changes during his reign. The American Revolution, for one, had huge impacts on Britain and was one of the most important revolutions in history. Although King George III was not the one that passed all the Intolerable Acts, he still had some indirect influence on the revolution. He supported the decisions that the Parliament made and did not stop them when colonists started protesting.
