Molly takes Dominic and Tom to Bude for the day, to the beach, where they try surfing and have the summer day that they’d once had with Andrew, Julianne and Pete – someone Dominic hasn’t heard from, just like his mum. And doesn’t want to. Asks Molly this day if she ever heard anything from that letter he tried to send Erika. Molly admits she hasn’t and Dominic decides there and then to put it to rest. He has to move on now. He only hopes Erika is okay. That she survived.
