Gretta collects the boys to take them to Molly. Dominic has a sad goodbye with Sally but soon leaves.

Long drive to Devon (203 miles/4hr 5mins) but soon they arrive to this strange village stuck to the Cliffside. And they meet Molly. Dominic has vague recollections of her but Toby doesn’t remember her at all.

She’s thrilled to see them and quickly gets them settled into their room. But that night, Dominic longs for Erika, for London, for normality. He even misses his mum a bit. And his dad.

Goes outside to smoke the last of his cigarettes and Molly finds him. He thinks she’ll lecture him about smoking but she doesn’t. Instead, they talk about the stars, then Clovelly, then his father. Dominic softens and Molly takes him inside to show him photo albums of photos of Andrew; of his parents. Of Julianne. She tells Dominic all about Andrew, the bohemian musician who moved to Paris and fell in love with a Parisian girl. Dominic is comforted but can’t seem to associate what his life became to this fantastical story. He breaks down and cries for his life back. Molly assures him he’ll feel better soon. He doesn’t know how to believe her.
