This boat was one of the largest, fastest, and most luxorious cruise ships of the day. Germany sunk it with a torpedo in which killed thousands of people. The Germans shot t the Lusitania because it moved into the war zoned that was covered with U-Boats (a boat that was armed and under the sea) and gaurded by the Royal Navy. To this day people don't know why the Lusitania went into the war zone and how it only sunk in 18 minutes.
