杜康，据《史记》记载，夏朝的国君，也是中国古代传说中的“酿酒始祖”，汉《说文解字》载：“杜康始作秫酒。又名少康，夏朝国君。”
因杜康善酿酒，后世将杜康尊为酒神，制酒业则奉杜康为祖师爷。后世多以“杜康”借指酒。
