28 dic 1864 anni - Corporations
Descrizione:
During the Gilded Age, corporations gained even more influence, power, wealth, and scope, thanks to the Second Industrial Revolution, along with the many grants given to them in order to expand the economy (especially railroads, like the Transcontinental Railroad). Corporations were visible pre Civil War, and were given charters by the federal government to increase public infrastructure, which continues through to this era.
