1 gen 1600 anni a. C. - The fall of Mohenjo Daro and Harappa
Descrizione:
Natural/geographic devastation would cause the collapse of two of the world's great cities. Historians hypothesized that the river's flow was driven by the region's shifting climate. This is detrimental for cities since agriculture would have been harmed as well. Others argue that droughts could have been a factor that impacted farmland as well.
It really demonstrates how much the land and environment can effect a civilization, whether through resource overuse or simply natural change. People in the present could learn from this and foresee similar outcomes with current climate challenges.
