1 gen 1968 anni - Prague Spring
Descrizione:
The Prague Spring was a period of brief economy and political liberalization that attempted to organize a market based socialist system in Czechoslovakia, and promote greater diversity of thought in socialist discourse. These reforms were helmed by Alexander Dubcek, who deemed it "socialism with a human face." In response to this, as well as Czechoslovakia leaving the Warsaw Pact, the rest of the Eastern Bloc countries invaded Czechoslovakia and installed a much more conservative socialist regime, led by Gustav Hucak. This repression did much to alienate western communists, many of whom reoriented towards either Maoist or proto-Eurocommunist positions after this, notably the Communist Party of Italy.
