I understand your decision, based on my immunity to do the right thing... And I truly do thank you for your concern!!!
I must apologize for not having had the presence of mind to respect the man who has been the most kind and who has done more for me than anyone ever. There was no call for my spineless and base behavior toward you.
I honestly understand the reasons for your concerns in your letter and can say to you now, they no longer are an issue...
Thank you for everything. I have chopped off my left middle finger as a reminder that I should never cut my finger off again!!
