With temperatures being at -30°C in Inner Mongolia, #CRRC ‘hydrogen-powered’ locomotives are now working at full capacity!

Since trial operations last June, these hydrogen-powered locomotives have run for a total of 5,818km in the section and are in great operating condition. Even in extreme temperatures of -30°C, the trains are still starting up and running smoothly. The energy consumption of these hydrogen locomotives is also only half of that of diesel locomotives. This is not only green and environmentally-friendly, it’s also effectively cost-saving.
