Descrizione:

President Lincoln along with Congress preserved land in the Yosemite Valley + the Mariposa Grove. This would later become Yosemite National Park. Lincoln was pressured by the public to sign this legislation as people felt California was not doing an adequate job protecting its pristine wilderness.
