In 1925, the KKK reached its highest membership which was inspired by the movie "The Birth of a Nation" The South was mostly where the organization was based, but the clan recieved attention around the nation. The KKK targeted blacks, immigrants and whites that helped out these immigrants and blacks. The KKK raised many tension in the U.S also.
