In this film that follows a group of married couples who are trying to save their marriages, Angela is an example of the Sapphire caricature. She is unhappy throughout most of the film and is constantly nagging and yelling at her husband. Her husband Marcus, is out of work for the time being and she never lets him forget it. Along with berating other Black men in the film she is overly aggressive and willing to fight other woman quickly.
