24 marzo 1933 anni - 14. Enabling Act
Descrizione:
The Enabling Act is passed by the NSDAP and conservative allies with the help of intimidation and coercion against opposing political members and voters. This act gives the Chancellor the right to bypass the Reichstag, constitution, and President in order to pass laws. This act gives Hitler dictatorial powers, unimpaired by checks and balances instituted in the Weimar constitution. Hitler uses the power granted to him by the Enabling Act and Reichstag Fire Decree to imprison opponents and spread Nazi ideology. Hitler also uses his powers to outlaw the communists and disband their political party, giving him a monopoly on power by making a single-party state.
