There are currently 67 operational projects in 13 european countries, with a combined capacity of 56 MW to produce about 4,700 tons of green hydrogen per year. More electrolyser installations are planned, thanks in particular to significant investments by the States (via subsidies or tax incentives) but also the EU Green Deal and the IPCEI (important projects of common European interest) Hydrogen. Green hydrogen production is growing rapidly in Europe and European electrolysis supply capacity should reach 2.7 GW by 2025
