Basically nothing of significance happened on that day. The main event was Lenin disguised as an old drunk with a toothache. Later that evening, Bolshevik troops made their way to preassigned positions and systematically occupied crucial points, which included main telephone and telegraph offices, banks, railroad stations, post offices, and most major bridges. Even the headquarters of the General Staff/army HQ was taken without resistance.
