Eighth grade was pretty much the same deal. I had Mr. V for algebra, but he had a student teacher named Mr. Frumpkin. He wasn’t as encouraging or personable, and when I was around him getting help I felt as if he thought I was dumb for not understanding content the first time. Funny enough, my third-grade teacher ended up marrying Mr. Frumpkin, and back then I thought she must have the worst taste in men!
