28 magg 1830 anni - Indian Removal Act
Descrizione:
The Indian Removal Act was a bill signed into law by President Andrew Jackson. It authorized the president to grant unsettled lands west of the Mississippi in exchange for Indian lands within existing state borders. Several tribes went peacefully, but many resisted, which caused uneasiness between the Native Americans and the US government/US citizens.
