as James was having trouble with the old parliament not giving him the money that he wanted. so what James did was shut down the old parliament (the blessed parliament) and then he started his own parliament called the addled parliament and this was pointless because he just hired lots of yes man to say what he wanted to hear but then it came to them bringing him the money they never did because they didn't were to get the money as England was getting poorer by the minute. so this was short-lived.
Only lasting 2 months and 2 days (5 April-7 June)
