The Boston Tea Party was an event that took place on December 16, 1773, where a group of rebellious Boston colonists dumped three hundred valuable chests of English tea into Boston harbor.

-This event played a part in God's divine plan as a vital moment in the American revolution. After this event, the Boston Harbor was shut down and the colonists suffered under these circumstances, adding a similar fuel as the Boston Massacre to the fire.

-This event had an effect on the families living in the Boston Harbor because of the way it was cut off by the British.

-This event showed the consequences of past events, such as the 1767 Townshend Revenue Act, and the 1773 Tea Act. All of the taxations forced upon the colonists built up to this event and the events not to long after, eventually resulting in the freedom of America.
