The Boston Massacre was the first fight between English soldiers and colonists that happened on March 5th, 1770, after the colonists taunted and harrassed the British soldiers. This event ended in the lives of five colonists being taken.

-This event set the stage for later events by uniting the colonies against England, a turning point in the revolution.

-This event was also the effect of past events, specifically the result of growing tension over the Townshend Acts.

-This event demonstrates the hand of Providence in history as the catalyst for unity in the colonies.

-I would venture to claim that this event poses opposition to God's divine plan because of the unnecessary bloodshed. While the battles in this timeline did have even greater costs than this event, I find that war also has a greater effect in furthering God's plan, leading me to the opinion that in the end, the lives lost in this event might not need to have be taken.
