The Square Deal was a policy adopted by president T. Roosevelt. He wanted to be fair to all groups of Americans and not favor any groups. He thought businesses should be heavily regulated. He came up with the "three Cs" . This stood for control of corporations, consumer protection, and conservation of natural resources.
